PYRAMIDS – SPHINX - CAIRO – ST CATHERINE - MOUNT SINAI – ALEXANDRIA

DAY 1 – ARRIVE IN CAIRO, EGYPT
Upon arrival in Cairo we transfer to our Hotel for overnight.
|

DAY 2 – CAIRO
This morning visit the Egyptian Museum, with afternoon visits to the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx.
|
|
DAY 3 – CAIRO – OLD CAIRO
Today we will explore Cairo further. Including visits to the church of El Moallaqa, the Synagogue of Ben Ezra, the churches of St. Barbara and St. Sergius. Drive on to St Catherine for overnight.

DAY 4 – CAIRO – COPTIC MONASTERIES
Our morning will be spent visiting the monasteries of St. Anthony and St. Paul before driving on to St. Catherine.

|
DAY 5 – MT. SINAI - ST. CATHERINE - CAIRO
We depart from the hotel in the early hours of the morning for our ascent of Mt. Sinai, where Moses received the 10 Commandments. Experience the beauty of the desert sunrise. After the descent we continue with a visit to the Monastery of St. Catherine, after which we return to Cairo.

DAY 06 – WADI EL NATRUN - ALEXANDRIA
Drive to Wadi El Natrun to visit the Coptic Monasteries of Wadi El Natrun. Following these visits depart for Alexandria.

DAY 07 - ALEXANDRIA
Spend the day exploring the beautiful city of Alexandria with visits to the fort of Quatbey, Pompey’s Pillar, the roman theatre of Kom-el-Dik, the Necropolis of Anfushi and the Library of Alexandria.
|
|
DAY 8 – DEPART CAIRO
Transfer to Cairo airport for our flight home
