DAY 1 – SUNDAY – ARRIVE IN THESSALONIKI
Transfer to your Hotel in the city of Thessaloniki
|
DAY 2 – MONDAY - AMPHIPOLIS – PHILIPPI – KAVALA (NEAPOLIS)
After a brief stop at Amphipolis we make our way to Philippi. Here we will see the Agora and the prison where Paul and Sylas were kept. After worship at the baptismal site of Lydia we shall continue to Kavala the ancient port of Neapolis.

DAY 3 – TUESDAY - THESSALONICA - BEREA – VERGINA – KALAMBAKA
This morning we shall drive to the upper part of the old city walls that offer excellent views of the city. After our sightseeing drive we make our way to Berea and see the Byzantine mosaic commemorating Paul’s preaching there. On to Vergina, the first capital of Macedonia, where we will visit the tomb of Philip II, the father of Alexander the Great. The tour also includes a visit to the museum that houses the priceless artifacts found here.

DAY 4 – WEDNESDAY - METEORA MONASTERIES - ATHENS
Visit two of the spectacular Byzantine monasteries at Meteora, perched precariously on huge finger-like rocks. View the superb icons, old manuscripts and unique mosaics and frescoes.

DAY 5 – THURSDAY - ATHENS
Today we shall see the highlights of Athens including visits to the Acropolis and Mars Hill, where the Apostle Paul preached to the Athenians.

DAY 6 – FRIDAY - EMBARK CRUISE – MYKONOS
Today we board our cruise ship and at 11am we set sail. Our evening will be spent on the cosmopolitan island of Mykonos.

DAY 7 – SATURDAY – KUSADASI (EPHESUS) – PATMOS
This morning we will explore the ancient City of Ephesus in Turkey. Both the Apostles Paul and John had visited here. Our afternoon is spent on the serene island of Patmos. Here we shall see the cave the Apostle John made his home when he had been exiled here. The cave was also the location where John wrote the book of Revelations.

DAY 8 – SUNDAY – CRETE – SANTORINI
From the port of Heraklion in Crete we will make our way to Knossos the centre of the ancient Minioan civilization and legendary home of the Minotaur. In the afternoon be inspired by the unique beauty of the island Santorini. We can stroll freely through the cliff hanging villages and admire the breathtaking views.

DAY 9 – MONDAY - ANCIENT CORINTH – CENCHREAE - ATHENS
After disembarkation, we commence our enchanting drive along the Saronic Gulf our first stop will be at the Corinth Canal. Then, on to the site of Ancient Corinth, home to the Apostle Paul for 1½ years. Visit the ancient port of Cenchreae before returning to Athens.

DAY 10 – TUESDAY - ATHENS DEPARTURE
