LEVADIA. ARACHOVA. DELPHI (visit). ATHENS
Drive through LEVADIA and ARACHOVA (famous for its bright multi colored carpets). Arrive in DELPHI, the ancient sanctuary of Apollo.
Visit the Museum where one can see the unique bronze Charioteer, among other archaeological treasures. Then proceed through the sacred way to the Athenian treasury. Visit the Temple of Apollo, the Castalia Spring etc.

ARGOLIS (MYCENAE – EPIDAURUS)

CORINTH Canal • MYCENAE (visit) • ARGOS, NAFPLION, EPIDAURUS (visit) • ATHENS
Drive along the coastal road of the Saronic Gulf to MYCENAE; visit the remains of the ancient city, including the Lionesses’ gate, the tomb of Agamemnon and the Palace. Then continue through ARGOS on to NAFPLION. After lunch visit EPIDAURUS and its theatre, famous for its remarkable acoustics. Return to Athens via the Epidaurus /Corinth road

ANCIENT CORINTH
Depart 08:45 a.m. – Return 2:00 p.m.
Starting from Athens we drive westwards along the scenic coast, until we reach the Corinth Canal with its breathtaking views (short stop).
Shortly thereafter we reach the ancient town of Corinth (visit) where St. Paul lived and preached for two years. Back in the ancient times Corinth was amo¬ngst the richest cities and this is quite evident by its remains, including the huge agora (market place) and Apollo's Temple (6th C B.C.).
Finally, before our return to Athens we will have a brief stop at the site of the ancient port of Cenchreae where the apostle Paul disembarked. Return to Athens in time for lunch.

2:30 – 06:30 p.m. in the winter.
Driving along the coastal rood passing by the wonderful beaches of GLYFADA, VOULIAGMENI, VARKIZA and countless coves, one has a splendid view of the Saronic Gulf. The spectacular Temple of POSEIDON overlooking the Aegean Sea dominates a crowning feature of the tour of Cape SOUNION.

ATHENS BY NIGHT
Depart 08:30 p.m. – Return around midnight.
Your evening dinner/tour begins with a pleasant scenic drive through the illuminated boulevards of Athens, as far as Piraeus, Greece's principal commercial port. Continue to Marina Zea, one of the busiest yacht harbours in the Mediterranean and home port to many luxurious pleasure yachts belonging to Greece's ship owning and international jet-set communities
From here, a short drive to Mikrolimano, another picturesque yacht and fishing boat harbour, home to the ex-Royal Yacht Club and many fine waterfront seafood restaurants. We finally return to Athens and the renowned "Plaka" district, located around the base of the Acropolis, for dinner with a live floor show at a typical Greek tavern.

ATHENS CITY TOUR FOR INDIVIDUALS
Depart 08:45 a.m. – Return 12:30 p.m.
Enjoy a tour of Athens, combining many of the cities principal modern and classical sights. This tour includes an overview of the modern city and striking contrasts to the remains of its glorious past. Drive by the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in front of the Parliament House on Constitution Square, the Panathenian Stadium (site of the first modern Olympic Games in 1896). See the Presidential Palace (ex Royal Palace), government buildings and elegant homes.
Drive along Panepistimiou Avenue and see the Catholic Cathedral, the Academy, University, National Library and Omonia Square. In contrast, we visit the Roman Temple of Olympian Zeus and the crowning beauty and glory that was Athens, the Acropolis with its many monuments atop its rocky base, including the stunning Parthenon, the Propylae, the Temple of Athena Nike and the Erechtheum with its Porch of Maidens. We also visit the Acropolis Museum which houses many of the artefacts from the site.
N.B. Guests staying on the coast will be transferred back to their hotels around 3:00 p.m. with the Cape Sounion Tour bus.
