SHORT TOUR TO ROME
DAY 1 - ROME ARRIVAL
Arrival to Rome. Transfer to the hotel on your own. Overnight in Rome.
DAY 2 - ROME
After breakfast pick up for the tour from Piazza San Bernardo, adorned by Moses' Fountain. We will continue towards Piazza della Republica, Via Piemonte, the Aurelian Walls, Porta Pinciana, Via Veneto, Via Nazionale. After this ample view of an important part of the city, the guided tour will lead you to the Trevi Fountain, a baroque jewel, and to the Pantheon, originally a pagan temple, which will be visited. We will head to Palazzo Madama, seat of the Senate of the Republic, to finally get to gorgeous Piazza Navona, built on the ruins of the Domitian's Circus. Then you will have the chance to admire Castel Sant'Angelo and to visit the St. Peter's Basilica. Afternoon free. Overnight in Rome.
DAY 3 - ROME:
Breakfast at hotel. Morning at leisure.
Depart from Piazza San Bernardo, adorned by Moses' Fountain. We will continue towards Piazza della Republica and continue along Via Nazionale towards Piazza Venezia. Crossing the square we will leave on one side the Memorial to King Vittorio Emanuele II and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. After this ample view, the guided tour will take you to visit the square of the Capitol, the result of Michelangelo's architectonic and magic genius. Simple but stately, the square is the seat of Rome Town Hall, from here you will enjoy the unique sight of the Forum and the Palatine Hill with a view of the massive structure of the Colosseum*. We will them walk along the ancient pavement which crosses the evocative ruins of the Roman Forum, the Curia, the Reggia. You will then admire the Temple of Vesta, the Arch of Titus and the Arch of Constantine. The tour continues towards the Circus Maximus, the Aventine Hill and the Pyramid of Caius Cestius, ending up with the visit of the Basilica of St. Paul's outside the Walls. Overnight in Rome.
*Interior visit of the Colosseum is not included.
DAY 4 - ROME DEPARTURE
Check out from the hotel. Transfer to the airport on your own.
