On board the Celestyal Crystal cruise-ship

DAY 1, Monday/ Mykonos, Greece
Sail at 9 p.m. to Mykonos, a cosmopolitan paradise, famous for its beaches and vibrant nightlife. Dinner and overnight on board.

DAY 2, Tuesday/ Mykonos, Greece
At 7:00 a.m. we dock at Mykonos and enjoy our day walking and exploring the pebbled streets of cosmopolitan Chora and “Little Venice”. As we spend the night here, there will be ample time to discover the pretty alleyways of Mykonos Town and the gorgeous beaches, or ancient Delos. All meals and overnight on board.

DAY 3, Wednesday/ Mykonos – Milos, Greece
At 7:00 a.m. we sail to Milos. This island is a geological marvel and home to the biggest selection of diverse and beautiful beaches in Cyclades, some of them formed by ancient volcanoes. At 1:00 p.m. we arrive at Milos and enjoy the unique landscape of Sarakiniko beach, the town of Plaka, the harbor of Adhamas and take a tour at the mining museum or visit the Church of Panagia Thalassitra. At midnight we sail to Santorini. All meals and overnight on board.

DAY 4, Thursday/ Santorini, Greece
At 8:00 a.m. we arrive in Santorini. (Disembarkation by tender-boats, sea & weather permitting). We participate in the organized shore excursion to Oia, where we stroll through the marble-paved alleys, gaze at the adorably cute shops and take breathtaking pictures. We become acquainted with the characteristic buildings, carved into the rocks. All meals and overnight on board.

DAY 5, Friday/ Santorini, Greece
Sprinkled like sugar over sheer, black volcanic cliffs, Santorini’s capital, Fira, is a site to behold. Wander through the narrow streets and enjoy breathtaking views. A visit to the intriguing archaeological excavations of Akrotiri is highly suggested. At 11:00 p.m. we sail to Crete. All meals and overnight on board.

DAY 6, Saturday/ Crete, Heraklion
At 7:00 a.m. we arrive in Heraklion, Crete. Capital of Crete and a former Venetian harbor with fascinating architecture. Visit the archaeological site in Knossos, take in centuries of history, architecture and art, and learn about the legends of Daedalus, Theseus and the formidable Minotaur as you roam from room to room at the Palace. Step through the remarkable Hall of the Royal Guard and the King’s Chamber breathing in the legendary stories of King Minos. We sail at 8.30 p.m. to Samos. All meals and overnight on board.

DAY 7, Sunday/ Samos, Greece or Kusadasi, Turkey
At 8:00 a.m. we disembark at the island of Samos, once home to some of the greatest minds of ancient Greece, including Aesop and Pythagoras. The organized excursion takes us to Samos Wine Museum, where we will be informed about the white Muscat variety, which reigns supreme over this land. Continue to the seaside village of Kokkari with its picturesque alleyways and houses, its little port and enviable beaches. Sail to Kusadasi.
At 11:30 a.m. we dock at Kusadasi in Turkey, starting point for our excursion to the ancient city of Ephesus, where the Apostle Paul preached and lived for three years (Acts 18:19-21). Visit the Agora, the Odeon and the magnificent Library of Celsus, as well as the Great Theatre, built in the 4th century B.C famous even nowadays for its acoustics. At 5:00 p.m. we return back to Samos and at 8:30 p.m. we sail back to Piraeus, Athens. All meals and overnight on board.  

DAY 8, Monday/ Piraeus (Athens), Greece
Arrive in Piraeus port at 9:00 a.m. After breakfast transfer to the Athens International Airport for departure flight.
